DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In the SAS® Enterprise Miner™ client, when you run a Register Model node, the following error might be displayed:

image label
Run Status
Model registration macro failure - model_repositorynotfound_error.

When you run an Input Data node, the following error might be displayed. The error is displayed if either condition is true:

  • the library is defined in the metadata repository
  • the library is defined using SAS® Management Console
image label
Run Status
Library <libref> is not assigned. You can allocate this library in your project start-up code.

The problem occurs when you are using Grid Launched Workspace Server, and parameters -METAUSER and -METAPASS are passed.

Verify the following settings to confirm the cause of the problem.

  • In the SAS Enterprise Miner client, select Open Project ► Options ► Preferences. Verify that the Run Options Grid Processing setting is set to Never use grid processing.

  • You are using Grid Launched Workspace Servers, which is a new feature in SAS® Grid Manager 9.4. For more information, see Grid Computing in SAS(R) 9.4.

  • You can also review the run.log file for the diagram where the nodes fail. Verify that the following parameters are specified in the value for Default SASCMD:

    cel=credentials\ lb\ recon\ grid -METAUSER <userid>@!\*\(generatedpassworddomain\)\*! -METAPASS <passwordstring>

The run.log file is located on the compute tier where you created the SAS Enterprise Miner project. See <EnterpriseMinerProject>\Workspaces\EMWS#\System\run.log where the EMWS# value is listed in the property panel when you highlight the failing diagram name in the project panel (upper left corner).

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

The hot fix addresses an issue that occurs in SAS/CONNECT®. With the fix, those parameters are not passed for the SAS/CONNECT session.

To work around the problem (instead of using the hot fix), you can manually change the preferences in the SAS Enterprise Miner client to run the nodes using Grid Launched Connect Sessions. In the SAS Enterprise Miner Client, select Open Project ► Options ► Preferences. Change the Run Options Grid Processing setting to Use Grid When Available.
